Book Review: The Reunion

BOOK REVIEW

 The Reunion

Release Date: December 28, 2021

Author: Kiersten Modglin

~ Welcome back, Bookies ~

It is safe to say that I have stumbled across my new favourite mystery, psychological author. Kiersten Modglin's books draw in suspense and have you thinking hard on your feet. You may think you know who's dunnit, but once again, she takes the most significant spin at the end, leaving you surprised.

"The Reunion" is designed to have you reading non-stop. So if/when you do decide to, make sure you have tons and tons of time. I finished this book in less than two days, meaning I stayed glued to my bed all weekend (Lord, help my back pain!!).

I love how "The Reunion" bounces back between Cait's present and the past life capturing the true meaning of friendship and our decisions in life. The story revolves around "Hotel Lilith," where it all went down. Even though Cait had promised herself, she would never return to this hotel due to some terrible memories. Yet, we see her come back to attend a high school reunion after ten years. One would only think why and Who would bring the crew of 2012 back in this mysteriously creepy hotel?

Well, I guess that is for you to find out. So, grab your coffee (you WILL need it, LOL) or hot chocolate and dive into Spider Lily's very own Hotel Lilith to discover the secrets that lie within that town.

Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Given the opportunity to be Cait, would you come back to Hotel Lilith and attend "The Reunion"? Let me know what your take would be in the comments below.

~ Happy Reading ~
